| Planning Department was established in the year 2003.
This department has been entrusted with the task of
providing support in the function of Governing Council
(Senate), Executive Committee, Selection Committee,
Punarabedan Aayog (Appellate Commission) of the Institute.
The Department has also been assigned the responsibility of
liaison work. This Department is actively involved in
co-ordination with the Institute Advisory Authority for the
recruitment of faculty under the Government of India
Assistance Programme.
Works completed
- Published Annual Report (2003-2004) and Plan of
Action (2004- 2005)
- Arranged progress review meeting of different
departments/ Sections as per the direction of Vice
Chancellor.
- Compiled information documents during the visit of
different dignitaries.
- Assisted for the arrangement of Governing Council
(Senate) held on 2062.01.06 (19. 04.2005) and in the
preparation of agenda and writing minutes.
- Assisted for the arrangement of twenty-three
Executive Committee meetings and preparation of agenda
and writing minutes.
- Assisted for the arrangement of two Selection
Committee meetings and preparation of agenda and writing
minutes.
- Assisted and coordinated in selection of Faculty
under Government of India Assistance Programme,
short-term deputation and other related matters.
- Compilation of BPKIHS rules as per the decision of
the Governing Council (Senate).
- Secretariat work for the Vice-chancellor office and
Rector Office as per need.
- Performed different tasks related to personnel
management.
- Assisted to the Hospital Director in different
matters related to the hospital
