Administration is a process of direction, overall
co-ordination in an agency designed to carry out some agreed
purpose with economy and effectiveness in the Hospital. It
is the determination and clarification of function, the
formulation of policies and procedures, delegation of
authority, selection, supervision and training of staffs,
mobilization and organization of available and appropriate
resources so that the purpose of the Institution may be
fulfilled.
The establishment of BPKIHS has been just more than a decade
i. e. it has crossed a milestone. Since its existence the
hospital has been providing health services to the people of
Eastern Region of Nepal as well as bordering towns of Bihar,
West Bengal, and Uttar Pradesh of India. We have been trying
to provide not only high quality patient care to all the
sick and needy coming here but also enhance our speciality
and super speciality health services.
BPKIHS started with the bed strength of 150 in 2050/051 and
have raised to 700 beds now, and further more it has an
added facilities of ICU/CCU for adults and children.
The achievements of the hospital in the last few years have
been remarkable, with the committed efforts of the dedicated
staffs and health personnel, who have worked hard to attain
this achievement.
The broad objectives of the hospital are

officers on daily as well as on monthly basis.

section for proper utilization and consumption in

- Supervision and cleanliness of the entire hospital
complex.
- Providing and maintaining the hospital information
system.
- Management and supervision of all support sections
viz. (CSSD, Laundry, MRD, Kitchen etc).
