| This department has been providing overall accounting
informations to the management for decisions affecting the
development of the Institute. The main function of this
department focuses on financial accounting and financial
planning as well financial accounting comprises of making
payment, receiving incomes, maintaining books of accounts,
recording financial transaction, preparing income and
expenditure statement, final accounts for audit purpose.
Financial planning includes preparation and presentation of
various statements, containing financial statements to the
management for effective planning, budgeting and to
formulate future policy and operations. This department also
liaises with Institute Advisory Authority Office, HMG and
other National Agencies for financial matters |
| General Activities |
- Maintained all types of books of accounts and
presented analytical statement of monthly income and
expenditure to the management.
- Internal Audit has been completed on the basis of
presented books of account.
- Annual programme and Budget for the fiscal year
2005/2006 has been prepared.
- Final audit for the fiscal year 2003/2004 has been
completed by the auditor general office and reply on
Auditor's comment has been forwarded to the office of
the Auditor General and Ministry of Health.
- Prepared financial report and statement for the
senate meeting.
- Computerized billing system in cash counter in
hospital and account also completed.
- A training programme of SOFTWARE to the account
staff also conducted. Total staff members of trainees
were 22.
- One-day training programme on Banking System has
also been conducted for account staff by Standard
Charted Bank.

- Short term training programme for account staffs,
will be carried out for the enhancement of work
efficiency
